You can sit down with Rana and Kelly and discuss your needs, type of area, style of home, amenities and everything you really want in your next home. As top real estate agents, they can help you by accessing using the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) which covers all properties listed for sale throughout Tucson, and in each specific area. Together, you can select the homes you would like to see, set appointments and preview homes in a short period of time. Rana and Kelly will take care of the appointments, background research, and preliminary issues with each house.  They will be with you through the entire process.

Newspaper Ads/Internet
Many people go through the real estate classified section or browse the Internet to find a home that appeals to them, or maybe pick up one of those real estate booklets at the super market. However, as real estate agents, Rana and Kelly will have many listings available that may not appear in the newspaper or Internet on a continuous basis. New listings come on the market daily, and some that appear in the usual sources are actually sold, or withdrawn from the market.  By all means, browse the newspaper and online sources to get familiar with the general market, but don’t expect to see all the possibly right choices for you there.

Multiple Listing Service
The MLS  is available throughout Tucson, and Rana and Kelly have linked it to their website.  You can search every listing in Tucson that has been entered to the system, but when you find interesting options be sure to get the very last word on their status from Rana and Kelly — the REALTOR grapevine is actually even faster than the MLS.  When you do review options online, you can use filters to help you narrow your search to the houses you might be interested in. Your search can include details such as:

  • Location
  • Price
  • Photograph
  • Utilities
  • Amenities
  • Annual property tax
  • Current financing (when assumable)
  • Listing company

When Previewing A Home

  • Write notes when previewing a home so you will be able to discuss the details later with Rana and Kelly.
  • Ask questions about the home and discuss any objections or concerns you may have.
  • Ask about the community – schools, shopping and transportation.
  • Ask specific questions about the construction of the home; electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling systems, etc.
